The Board of Directors of the University of Montenegro appointed at today's session prof. Dr. Tatiana Dlabač for the deanship of the Kotor Maritime Faculty.
Professor Dlabač was elected for the mandate period 2023-2026, at the proposal of the Council of the Maritime Faculty of Kotor, and with the previously given positive opinion of the rector of UCG, prof. Dr. Vladimir Božović. Her three-year mandate will begin after the expiration of the mandate of the current dean of the Maritime Faculty, prof. Dr. Špir Ivošević.
"The scientific field that Dr. Tatijana Dlabač deals with is electromagnetics, marine electrical engineering, e-learning and evaluation of practical lessons in engineering, education and training of seafarers. She has been working at the University of Montenegro since 1993, and in addition to teaching activities, she has and the functions of vice-dean for teaching from 2015 to 2017 and member of the Board of Directors of UCG from 2016 to 2020. She has published about 80 scientific and professional papers in international journals and at international and domestic conferences. She is the co-author of the university textbook "Basics of Electrical Engineering". She was a member of the working teams of several international projects. At the Kotor Maritime Faculty of the University of Montenegro, she is an associate professor in the field of marine electrical engineering and electronics," the announcement states.
By the vote of the members of the Board of Directors of UCG, Dr. Olga Pelcer was not elected director of the Historical Institute of UCG today, but Dr. Dragana Kujović was appointed acting director until re-election.
When it comes to personnel issues, the term of office of the member of the UCG Board of Directors, Mirko Đurović, PhD, was terminated today due to his election to the position of director of the Institute of Marine Biology. Instead of Dr. Đurović, as a representative of the academic staff with an academic title in the field of natural and technical sciences, the professor of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the UCG, prof. Dr. Srđa Aleksić.
Among other points in the domain of the regular business of the University of Montenegro, the Rulebook on the allocation of funds for improving the living conditions of employees at the University was adopted today, the press release concludes.
