Due to the extreme heat, the Secretariat for Housing and Communal Affairs and Traffic and the Protection and Rescue Service of the Capital City of Cetinje launched an action to set up water bowls for abandoned animals.
"Containers with water have been placed in several locations in the city: in city parks, on Student Square, near the Summer Stage, near the Lovcen Villa monument, in Bajice, Gipos settlement and other locations in the city, and the services of the Capital of Cetinje will regularly top up with fresh water," the announcement states.
It is, as they said, a temporary and preventive measure aimed at protecting animals, until the shelter is built in the industrial zone of Zagrablje - a place where the animals will be adequately taken care of and receive appropriate care, after which it will be possible to adopt them.
"We invite all fellow citizens to join the action in order to make the warm summer days easier for the animals together," they conclude from Prijestonica.
