The NGO "Euromost" claims that the works on the construction of illegal structures on the Bistrica river near Bijelo Polje continued today despite the fact that the competent inspection, after their report, stopped further works.
"Euromost", a non-governmental organization in Bielsko-Biała, received video footage from citizens today, which shows that even after the reports were filed and the inspections stopped the execution of works, the same persons continued with the construction of buildings, destruction and concreting of the Bistrica River.
This was reported to "Vijesta" by that NGO, from where they state that individuals are usurping state land, destroying the banks of the river, and that all this clearly shows that individuals are stronger than the state and state institutions, which do nothing to prevent illegalities.
Acting on the earlier report of "Euromost", yesterday the Secretariat for inspection affairs at the Bjelopolje local government announced that 'the water management inspector in the town of Gubavac carried out supervision over the persons BS and ZE and, in accordance with the regulations, submitted appropriate reports against them to the competent authority '.
"A team consisting of representatives of several services of the Municipality of Bijelo Polje has been formed, which will visit the area around the Bistrica river every day, which will enable timely and effective measures to be taken in the future," the statement of the sectarian office states.
In "Euromost", they state that yesterday they also registered the persons who are employed in the Lim Municipal Company as drivers, about which they informed the company's director, because the same trucks are also used for the work of that company. We suspect that the material brought in is taken illegally from the city landfill, even though the exploitation of materials from that location is prohibited, because there is not even the necessary permit," claims the NGO.
They call on the Security Department of Bijelo Polje to check all the machines that are being used, to confiscate them and to determine who owns them and what they are used for, and to immediately inform the competent prosecutor, because it is obvious that the same persons and the same machines are being used for illegal actions, even though they were given a decision to suspend all works.
"Euromost" reminds that they informed the competent inspections, which visited the field after the report.
They emphasize that they will not give up despite the audio threatening messages they are allegedly receiving these days, which is why they have turned to the police.
"We are telling everyone, especially those whom we suspect belong to criminal and other organizations, that no one can and will not be able to scare us and that we will respond even more strongly to all abuses and destruction of our rivers, in accordance with the law and the Constitution of Montenegro. be they members of criminal organizations or any other organizations," the NGO said.
