"For this purpose, a plot of land is planned as part of the Detailed Urban Plan (DUP) "University Center" Podgorica, on urban plot (UP) 2, with an area of 10.638,09 square meters, owned by the University of Montenegro (UCG)," says the announcement. .

"As well as that, in the name of indemnifying the UCG for the value of the land, an amount of no less than 3,93 million euros should be provided through budget planning for the next year for the project of reconstruction of the building of the Technical Faculties", added the Government.

In the Information on the construction of a new elementary school in Tuzi, it is stated that the construction of a school building with a gross construction area of 4,07 thousand square meters is planned, under the scope of the DUP "Karabuško Polje".

The government also adopted the Information on Amendments to the Agreement on financing the implementation of the "Program for the Improvement of Montenegrin Education" project, concluded on November 5, 2019, between Montenegro and the EIB.

The amendment of the contract, as the government said, foresees the amendment of the project in such a way that it includes the construction of the "Vladimir Nazor" elementary school, which will be financed partly from loan funds and partly from a grant provided by WBIF and bilateral donors.

"Also, due to the change in the amount of the grant from ERI, from 1,2 to 2,8 million euros, the total value of the contract also changes, and instead of the initial 40,54, the contract amounts to 42,14 million euros," the announcement states.

It is emphasized that the draft of changes on financing foresees a new deadline for the completion of the project by June 2027, while the other items of the Agreement remained unchanged.

The Government announced that at today's session the Information on the conclusion of the Financing Agreement between the Ministry of Public Administration and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) was adopted.

The government adopted the National Chemicals Management Strategy from 2024 to 2026 and the Action Plan for implementing the strategy for the next two years.
