The Association Parents invited citizens to participate in the humanitarian action "Let's share, because together we can do more" to contribute to providing help for socially vulnerable families, for the beginning of the new school year.
This campaign, which is being organized for the 13th year in a row, aims to help families living in poverty in Montenegro prepare their children for the new school year by providing them with school supplies, according to the announcement of the Parents association.
"Through numerous programs and activities, we provide support in education and social integration to children living in poverty within the social service Učionica Družionica," it added.
The framework of the social service Ucionica Družionica includes:
- Support in learning - throughout the year, organizing individual lessons and working in groups to master school material, doing homework, motivating children not to give up schooling after primary school.
- Creative, educational and psychological workshops during which children paint, play, but also develop social skills, learn about the importance of education, tolerance, respect for diversity.
- Sports activities - in cooperation with a large number of clubs, free training is provided for children.
Citizens can help by making a payment to the giro account of the Parents Association or the corresponding bookstore.
"The total cost per child for the necessary equipment to start the new school year ready is about 20 euros," the announcement reads.
The Parents Association will acquire the necessary accessories, photograph the donation, publish and send the donor an invoice.
