Dana Đukanović from Nikšić, after 33 years of working as a telephone operator at the Nikšić General Hospital, was reassigned to the laundry room. She claims that this was done while she was on annual leave, that the Annex to the employment contract was sent to her by mail, and that the reason for the transfer was the "arbitrariness and vindictiveness" of the hospital's management, as she pointed out, as she points out, nepotism, omissions in work, abuses .
"Party recruitment has happened before, and it continues today, and that nepotism is much more present because the family is very involved. There are employed nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, aunts, I don't know if there are uncles and aunts there. That was the reason for the attacks and attacks on my personality," said Đukanović, who expressed her revolt against the transfer in front of the hospital building, and was supported by friends and relatives.
She claims that her position was not abolished by systematization, because the act on systematization has been sent for revision and is waiting for the minister's signature, as well as that her transfer puts pressure on the employees, since she is the president of the Free Trade Union of Medical and Non-Medical Staff.
"The director sent me the Annex to the speech that she was moving me to a place in the laundry room without initiating any disciplinary proceedings against me, because she had to do that first, and then inform me, but also explain in writing why it happened to such a rotation. She committed a series of legal violations and I had to file a series of criminal charges against her and the administration," Đukanović claims.
As she pointed out, she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease a month and a half ago, so she is not physically fit for a new job because of the disease. "I was not the only one under attack, but many. Older sisters who are about to retire and who are transferred to more difficult jobs just because they resented or are unfit for some reason. Fear is present. In support of this story of mine is the fact that none of the employees came to offer support, not even the members who belong to this union for the simple fear of not being registered and under attack", said the operator who also had problems with the previous management who sued for mobbing.
"Obviously, I'm not lucky with managers because I always act and react in opposition. I do not plan to start working because I am on sick leave due to an autoimmune disease. If the director is going to rotate nurses who have retrained in the meantime, and push me to a place where I don't have the physical ability to do that job, then she's grossly mistaken. I think this is a rule of law. If not now, it will be later and the right must come to life, that the law protects the worker from abuse, arrogance, vindictiveness, from degradation", said Đukanović and called on all workers to overcome the fear that "blocks them so much" and raise their voice for their rights.
"The power station is not there for so many years by chance. It is for citizens because those elderly people, who are the most frequent users of services, cannot come to the door and see the number of which department, nor can they google it, because they do not know it. I hope for a change in government, that the management will change, that some healthy normal people will come who will do everything contrary to what we have experienced so far", said Đukanović and added that she received the written support of the Clinical Center Union.
The director of the hospital, Dr. Dušanka Milatović Perović claims that the switchboard in the hospital has not had its "use value and serves no purpose" for several years.
"Every ward, clinic, every head nurse has their own phone. Every outpatient service, such as legal and economic services, drivers, all have their own phones. So, the switchboard has no function. Two employees worked there, one of whom was previously transferred to another position, and now Dana Đukanović has also been transferred. Due to the needs of the service, the workplace was redistributed, while its coefficient was not changed and is not threatened by anything," said the director of the hospital.
According to her, since she became the director of the hospital in that institution, "exclusively work is favored", and the contribution of the worker at the telephone switchboard is zero percent.
"Regarding her illness, she never submitted any medical documentation, nor any explanation that she has an illness. I cannot know whether or not something was established a month ago because she did not attach anything. The second thing he says is I'm telling you a story. She's been saying this for years, she went to court with all the directors, with all the bosses, and I wouldn't comment on it," concluded Milatović Perović.
