Today, Prime Minister Dritan Abazović hosted the President of the Police Administration Trade Union, Mladen Šuškavčević, in his cabinet and said that the Government has a good will to help solve the housing needs of police officers.

As announced by the Government, Šuškavčević thanked Abazović and Interior Minister Fillip Adžić for "everything they did together in order to improve the material status" of police employees.

Abazović emphasized that the improved material status of police officers is a form of gratitude for "the safety and security that all citizens of Montenegro feel every day".

"Today we can freely state that the security in Montenegro is at a satisfactory level", said the Prime Minister.

Saying that the Trade Union of the Police Directorate "encountered only support" from the leaders and members of the current Government, Šuškavčević expressed the expectation that they will receive help from the Government in solving the housing issue for police employees.

"Our union has so far built more than 570 apartments for our employees and will not stop there," said Šuškavčević, adding that there are plans and locations in several municipalities where, with the help of the government, work could soon begin.

"The government has a good will to help and we will help as much as we can. We would like people to get a roof over their heads, because they deserve it," Prime Minister Abazović concluded.
