The Capital City Health Center organizes HPV vaccination without an appointment on the first three weekends in September.

Vaccination will be carried out on Saturdays and Sundays in the Stara Varoš health facility (Pobrežje) from 20 a.m. to XNUMX p.m.

"Girls from the areas of Podgorica, Tuzi and Zeta can receive the HPV vaccine without calling and making an appointment," the announcement says.

HPV vaccination, as stated, will primarily be administered to girls aged nine to 14.

"We appeal to all parents to bring their daughters and vaccinate them with the HPV vaccine and thereby reduce the risk of contracting cervical cancer and other diseases related to HPV infections during their lifetime," the statement said.

Vaccination at that age, according to the latest recommendations of the World Health Organization and the National Expert Advisory Body for Immunization, is carried out with one dose of nine-valent (HPV 9) vaccine, and the state health system covers all the costs of this immunization.
