Digitization at the local level is at the top of the priorities of the Ministry of Public Administration (MJU), said the relevant minister Maraš Dukaj.
As announced by the Ministry of Education, Dukaj and his associates paid a working visit to Rožaje today, where he spoke with the President of the Municipality, Rahman Husović.
Dukaj said that the MJU will give full support to the municipality of Rožaje in order to ensure efficient provision of services to citizens.
He pointed out that it is important to establish cooperation in the field of e-administration, in order to create an efficient and economical public administration.
"We are fully committed to the process of decentralization and strengthening the system of local self-government in Montenegro," said Dukaj.
As he said, that is why a Working Group was formed with the task of creating an Analysis of the functioning of the local self-government system.
The analysis, according to Dukaj, should provide clear evidence for purposeful decentralization, which will contribute to the democratization of society, responsibility, efficiency in the provision of services and provide quality life to citizens in the local community.
He pointed out that digitalization at the local level is at the top of the priorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and that the implementation of the electronic payment system, which the Ministry offered to all municipalities, is underway.
Dukaj stated that it is a service, an important electronic service through which citizens will be able to make all electronic payments and which the municipality of Rožaje can offer to its citizens.
Husović said that he is convinced that MJU will continue to be a reliable and responsible partner in terms of further improving the work of local self-government and efficient service to citizens.
He said that they are carrying out continuous activities to improve services for citizens, but also to stimulate the environment for the economy.
