National Tourist Organization of Montenegro presented the tourist offers of Montenegro on International Tourist Exchange in China ITB China, within the stand of the European Commission for Travel.
During the three days of the tourist exchange in Shanghai, in the period from September 12 to 14 of the current year, representatives of the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro and the tourism industry of Montenegro held numerous meetings with representatives of the tourism industry from China, who had the opportunity to become more familiar with the wide the spectrum of travel opportunities offered by our country.
In addition, NTO CG organized a business workshop in Beijing with the aim of networking the tourism industry and attended a business workshop in Shanghai, where over 100 tour operators from China were present.
NTO Montenegro said that during the fair and workshops, tour operators showed great interest in our destination and that they have high expectations from this market.
Representative of one of the most important tour operators in China On tour he said that Montenegro is interesting for tourists from this market because of its attractive and varied offer.
"We already have Montenegro in our offer, but we want to enrich the offer with some new places within your country, providing a unique experience to our clients. The Chinese are extremely interested in the Montenegrin coast and want to visit as many tourist attractions as possible in a short period of time. Until now, we have cooperated with Montenegrin travel agencies and we are extremely satisfied with the cooperation and have high expectations for next year. China was closed for 4 years due to the COVID 19 pandemic and now people want to travel again", said the manager of the tour operator U tour Chen Binchao.

During the fair, the representatives of NTO Montenegro had the opportunity to talk with a representative of one of the largest travel agencies in Beijing HCG International Travel Group Co, which has been offering Montenegro in its programs for many years.
"We are one of the first travel agencies from China that included Montenegro in its offer. We have a large number of activities when it comes to the market of Montenegro and surrounding countries. Already at the beginning of February, we are planning a new visit to Montenegro, and that market is on our priority list, so you can expect a large number of tourists from China in the coming period", concluded the representative of this travel agency. In order to network the tourism industry, the NTO of Montenegro organized a business workshop and presentation in Beijing on September 15, where our tourism industry had the opportunity to meet with around 50 Chinese tour operators and present their offer for the coming year. The presentation was attended by the chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of Montenegro in China, Marko Vujačić, as well as the director of the Directorate for Development Policies in Tourism of the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism, Aleksandra Gardašević Slavuljica.

The representatives of the tourism industry who took part in the workshop said that they have high expectations for this market, and they believe that such workshops are the fastest way to reach clients.
In addition to participating in ITB China and business workshops in Beijing, as part of promotional activities on the Chinese market, NTOC CG took part in a business workshop China European Market Place, whose organizer is European Tour Operators Association (ETOA) in Shanghai. During this workshop, representatives of NTO Montenegro held over 20 meetings with tour operators from China, many of which expressed interest in including Montenegro in their offer.
Montenegro's offer was presented at the fair by three travel agencies Montenegro Tourist Service, Grand and Venn Tour, while One&Only Portonovi was present at the business workshop alongside these agencies.

ITB China is one of the most significant tourism exchanges, which is realized in a B2B format in Asia, which is visited every year by a large number of participants from all sectors of the tourism industry, including international and domestic tourism organizations, travel agencies, hotels, airlines and similar tourism companies, as well as a large number media houses. It is estimated that over 700 travel agencies visited ITB China this year, while there were 350 exhibitors from 65 countries.
