Prime Minister Dritan Abazović sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Day of the municipality of Žabljak to the president of that municipality, Radoš Žugić, the president of the municipal assembly, Ivan Popović, councilors, as well as citizens of that municipality, his office announced.
"Allow me to congratulate you on a day that reminds us of the libertarian tradition of the citizens of the Durmitor region and urges that in modern circumstances, carried by new achievements and trends, we will continue to achieve success in the field of economic development, and cultural, educational and sports activities," said Abazović.
He also said that one of the "more successful" summer tourist seasons is coming to an end, adding that the municipality of Žabljak contributed to its success, and that it continues to develop its offer, strengthen diversity and availability throughout the year.
"In order to continue to properly valorize the potential of Žabljak and the National Park, human resources, katun and natural beauty, further investment in infrastructure is imperative for administrations at both the state and local levels," said the Montenegrin Prime Minister.
He said that he is sure that Žabljak, "as one of the most prominent tourist brands of Montenegrin tourism", will develop in the direction of high standards of sustainability, green policies and for the benefit of all its citizens.
"Through joint efforts, we will activate the capacities of the Žabljak region even more strongly and present them to domestic and foreign investors and guests in an even better way. Convinced that we have years of realistic politics, domestic management of all state resources and heritage, I once again congratulate you on the great holiday." concluded Abazović.
