Christoph Winkels in front of the tour operator Highlander Reisen who specializes in mountain tours, points out that he came to Montenegro to find out which are the best places for hiking.
"It is beautiful, in addition to beautiful beaches and mountains, you have a lot of cultural heritage. "Montenegro has a great combination of mountains and sea, and you can't find that often in Europe," said Winkels.
A representative of the tour operator has a similar opinion Lupe Reisen, Axel Neuhaus (Axel Neuhaus) who points out that they are interested in sending guests from Germany to Montenegro.
"The nature is very interesting, it is very nice to stay here and have contact with your country. I saw impressive old cities, with a history dating back thousands of years," Neuhaus said.
In order to network our economy with the German market, the NTO of Montenegro organized a business workshop where about 40 Montenegrin tourism entrepreneurs were present.
According to the representative of the strategic partner NTO Montenegro, the company Air Montenegro, the Montenegrin national airline will seriously consider an offer for the German market for the next year.
"We have decided to seriously think about the offer for the German market for the next year. We have a regular line to Frankfurt, which for now we maintain only during the summer season, from the beginning of April to the end of October, but for the next season we would expand to more destinations. For now, Munich, Dusseldorf and Hanover are in play, so we will decide depending on the interest of German tourists. We will make our offer to connect with more cities in Germany during the summer season, in order to bring Montenegro closer to the German public," she said. Tatjana Dabović in front of the Air Montenegro company.
Representative of Trend Travel agency Olivera Krivokapic, she said that German tour operators are interested in Montenegro.
"The first agency I spoke with now is delighted that we prepared everything and that we brought everything in German. We are willing to organize and offer everything they want, and all they have to do is choose Montenegro," said Krivokapić.
That B2B workshops are extremely important for establishing direct contact with tour operators, confirms the sales manager at the Nikki Beach resort, Željka Popović.
"There, you can directly consider the possibilities, the interests that tour operators from broadcast markets have for us as hoteliers. They are very important, it is especially important in this variant where they come to us, where they are able to visit the destination itself, to feel everything that we offer here as a market", said Popović.
Representative of NTO Montenegro, Andri Stanović, points out that when it comes to the arrivals and overnight stays of tourists from Germany, the data shows growth compared to 2022.
"We have data for the first seven months, which say that slightly more than 80.000 arrivals were recorded from Germany and slightly less than 400.000 overnight stays in that period. These gatherings and workshops contribute to making the German market more visible, to the tourism industry of Montenegro becoming interested in cooperation with tour operators from Germany," added Stanović.
In organizing the study visit, the NTO Montenegro was supported by: local tourist organizations of Cetinje, Kotor, Bar, Kolašina and Podgorica, National Parks of Montenegro, Hilton Podgorica Montenegro, Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort, Azul Beach Resort Montenegro by Karisma, Plantaže 13. Juli, as well as the Kotor Cable Car.
