Today, the Management Board of the University of Montenegro (UCG) re-elected prof. as Dean of the Faculty of Architecture. Dr. Svetlana Perović for the mandate period from 2023 to 2026.
The session was chaired by prof. Dr. Rajko Glušic, and Perović was re-elected on the proposal of the Council of the Faculty of Architecture and with the positive opinion of Rector Vladimir Božović.
"Professor Perović is the organizer of several student workshops and exhibitions, with a continuous practice of publishing students' works. Under her mentorship, students have published a large number of works and won several awards at international salons of urbanism. She is active on the international research scene, and her research interests include: urban theory, conceptual urban design, urban regeneration, the future of cities, transdisciplinary methodology in science, education and urban practice. Among the many activities, the participation in the author's writing of five international encyclopedias published by the leading international publisher SAGE, and chapters published in two scientific monographs by the publisher Springer stands out. , as well as two international books of a study nature, also published in America. He is a reviewer of scientific works in international journals and books," they remind in a statement from UCG.
At today's session of the Board of Directors of UCG, the procedure for the election of the director of the Institute of History was launched. The competition for the director of the Institute of History is published in the Bulletin of the University of Montenegro and in a daily newspaper published in Montenegro. Applications for the competition must be submitted within 15 days from the day of publication of the competition in the daily newspaper.
The session also discussed other items on the agenda in the domain of regular operations of the University of Montenegro.
