The President of the Education Union of Montenegro, Radomir Božović, told the media, after the panel discussion "Dear Teacher - Prosperous Society", that it is necessary to clearly emphasize the criteria when hiring professors and directors.
"We propose to introduce a test to see if the director has less or more managerial predispositions than others," he said.
He explained that their demands are very clear and specific, and not "too general and academic as the MP representative qualified them".
He recalled the unpleasant events in the classrooms in Tuzi and other schools in Montenegro.
"It is necessary to give parents and child offenders more rigorous punishments," Božović said.
The executive director of the "Parents" association, Kristina Mihailović, said that the influence of parents on the assessment of students has increased greatly recently.
"I think that this has a decisive effect on the authority and status of educators. Is it possible that we can't solve this once and for all, to set clear rules and prevent pressure..." Mihailović said.
Saša Bakrač emphasized that myths about classroom work must be dispelled as soon as possible.
He also explained that "almost every professor invests from his own pocket on a daily basis for better teaching".
