To all workers of the company "Deponija" who participated in extinguishing the fire on the premises of the company where the bulky waste was burning, compensation in the amount of one minimum salary should be set aside from the budget reserve, announced today from the Committee of the Liberal Party (LP) Podgorica.
They emphasized that this initiative will be submitted by the Liberal Party Committee of the Capital City of Podgorica to the mayors and presidents of the Capital City Assembly.
"The same amount should be determined and the workers of other city companies who provided an immeasurable contribution to quickly and efficiently extinguish the fire and thereby prevent greater damage to the company's property as well as to the health of the citizens of Podgorica, should also be rewarded in the same way," they said. from LP.
According to them, although this is not the first fire of this kind, they believe that this time, due to the extent of the fire and the danger, and especially, as they say, due to the great involvement of people, it is necessary to reward all those who were ready to spend three days and three nights without interruption they are working on extinguishing the fire and remediating the consequences.
"The capital city should, as soon as possible, with the line ministries, find an efficient way to permanently dispose of all types of non-municipal waste in a prescribed and safe manner. This will stop the multi-year trend of arson and allow the company "Deponija" to perform the public function entrusted to them in a high-quality manner, and to all the citizens of Podgorica to live in a healthier and cleaner environment," they concluded in the announcement.
