The government of North Macedonia organized a flight for their citizens, who are in Israel, so the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro asked that they also bring Montenegrins to Skopje on that flight, who have been trying to find free flights to return home for the last two days.
The costs of the Air Serbia flight are borne by the Government of North Macedonia, which announced yesterday that they decided to organize a charter, evacuation flight from Tel Aviv.
"In the conditions of completely canceled flights and blocked air transport with Israel, the challenge of organizing this charter flight was overcome through cooperation with 'Air Serbia' for the transport of citizens who requested help. The air transport that will be organized will be free of charge for the citizens who requested help", it was stated in the official statement of the Government of North Macedonia.
According to information from Vijesti, another 12 Montenegrin citizens are on the list of the MFA, where they registered on the crisis number that they want to leave Israel. The MFA is reportedly working to help them board some of the flights from Tel Aviv.
Many of them have already been told that their flights for Monday and Tuesday have been canceled even though they managed to buy tickets to reach Europe.
