Households in the upper part of Boško Rašovića Street in Kolašin still have no water. The water supply in the greater part of the city was interrupted yesterday for 12, or rather, nine hours due to the performance of works on the hydrotechnical infrastructure in that canal, that is, the replacement of old asbestos pipes, which was previously announced by the company Vodovod i knalizacija.
"There has been no water since yesterday, and for today there is no explanation as to why this is so. It is truly inconceivable that we have been left in this situation for the second day, without any explanation. We need to know until when and why we don't have a regular water supply," said some of the locals in that street.
In the company Vodovod i kanalizija, they unofficially told Vijesti that they found out about the problems with the water supply, as they say, of several houses in Boško Rašovića Street this afternoon. They could not explain why the water supply in that part of the city was not established yesterday at 18 pm, when all other consumers received water.
In that company, they assume that it is a question of interruption of one of the connections. They promise that tomorrow the fault will be detected and fixed.
Works on the construction of hydrotechnical infrastructure in Boška Rašovića Street began in May, and the realization of that project will solve the problem of stormwater overflow in the part of the settlement that gravitates to that traffic, as well as the problem of undeveloped fecal sewage.
Part of the project is the replacement of old asbestos pipes, which have been a problem in the water supply network for decades. The construction of new distribution and connection pipelines is also planned. As recently announced by the service for the supervision of these works, the project will be largely completed during November.
