"We have been waiting for a long time for the reconstruction of Školska Street to begin. It is a street with many potholes, no sidewalks, no atmospheric and fecal sewage, when it rains children who step through puddles from school to home, return wet and stay wet at school. We are glad that the local administration recognized the needs of the locals", said the president of the local community of the Nikšić settlement Kličevo, Branislav Eraković, when officializing the works on the reconstruction of the mentioned street.
According to the Vice President of the Municipality, Zoran Tomić, the value of the street reconstruction works, in the length of more than 2,6 kilometers, is about 2,5 million euros, and the contractor is the company "Migcomerce".
"We expect that during the next year we will get a reconstructed street, which is one of the biggest streets in Kličevo and in general in the municipality. Nikšić is working, that is evident, and as the president of the municipality I can express my satisfaction and say that I am also proud of my team of collaborators, because we manage to implement all our plans", said the president of the municipality Marko Kovačević.
He reminded that other projects, such as the construction of a fire station and the reconstruction of a section of Boulevard 13. Juli, have been started in that MZ.
"By the end of the year, we are also planning a multifunctional hall, as well as the street 'Voja Deretića', with which we will start a whole series of projects that we have planned this year, and next year we will finish the following ones and start new ones", Kovačević pointed out and added that he is proud of the team of collaborators because they manage to realize everything that is planned.
According to the president of the Nikšić Municipal Assembly (SO), Nemanja Vuković, Kličevo, as the largest local community in the municipality, which has about 17.000 inhabitants, also has major infrastructure needs, and one of them is the reconstruction of Školska Street, one of the busiest, but also the most unsafe streets. in the city.
"In addition to the fact that Kličevo will get a road that is organized according to all standards, atmospheric and fecal sewage and everything that accompanies the project will be done, and traffic safety will also increase. I hope that we will continue with the projects this year as well", said Vuković and announced that the reconstruction of the road Vidrovan - Jasenovo polje will soon begin.
And in the next year, according to him, valuable projects are planned in the area of Nikšić.
"In the next year, a tender will be announced for the construction of third lanes on the Danilovgrad - Nikšić bridge. In our capital budget, we have included funds for designing the Budoš - Brlja boulevard - the entrance to the city, so that Nikšić is really changing for the better every day. I am sure that we will continue like this in the coming year and that we will succeed in realizing everything that we have planned, everything that we have outlined, and everything for the benefit and good of all the citizens of Nikšić", said Vuković.
