The President of the Municipality of Kotor Vladimir Jokić signed today the Protocol on cooperation with the Association of Managers of Montenegro (AMMCG), which, among other things, aims to create a more favorable business environment in the area of the Kotor municipality, as well as better services for the economy and citizens, the association announced. .
"Once again, we confirm what we have repeatedly confirmed to our city in the past seven years with deeds - that the positions of managers and decision-making positions are not reached by party key, but by expertise. The signing of the Protocol represents another proof of the city administration's commitment to the development and diversification of the city's economic offer. The professional assistance of the Association of Managers of Montenegro will be very important to us in projects to develop the future business zone, as well as in cross-border cooperation projects. I believe that together we will succeed in positioning Kotor high on the map of the business world, just as it is high on the map of tourist destinations", said Jokić.
The cooperation protocol was signed by President Budimir Raičković on behalf of the Association of Managers of Montenegro.
Welcoming the achievements of the local administration so far, he said: "I appreciate that this Protocol is extremely important for the business community, especially the one that deals with leadership and managerial professions." It will enable the city's economic agents to contribute to Kotor to the extent that Kotor really means not only in terms of tourism, but also in terms of culture and business. I am looking forward to all future projects and I think that by joining the profession and local government, success will be inevitable. I'm glad that today we formalized the otherwise good cooperation with Kotor, but the bottom line is that we can go one step further."
"Joint activities will include various events with the aim of achieving common and strategic goals: improvement of leadership, managerial and entrepreneurial knowledge and skills through the implementation of training and other types of education, then support for activities aimed at the greater involvement of women in entrepreneurship, as well as in managerial and leadership positions in the public and private sector," the association's announcement states.
Active cooperation will also be reflected in the realization of projects in the field of digital transformation, said the association, especially in order to improve, increase the efficiency and quality of eServices, and other services for citizens and the economy, then in the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of application of artificial intelligence (AI). and other advanced technologies, and creating and applying for international projects of interest to the Municipality, inter-municipal, regional and international cooperation.
"One of the goals of cooperation will be to connect with other organizations, institutions and scientific institutions, and work together to improve the economic life and business environment, as well as the education of managers and businessmen in the field of economics, management and entrepreneurship through the organization of expert discussions, round tables, forums, conference and the like. The plan is to prepare joint projects, as well as the formation of the Managers' Club - the Kotor Business Club," reads the announcement of the Association of Managers of Montenegro.
