In 2016, the Center for the Protection and Study of Birds of Montenegro (CZIP) made two videos about Piva - "Churches - in the embrace of nature" and " Beer – in search of stećci". The author of both videos was Ilija Perić.

"Beer, or as we like to call it, the kingdom of stećak. Namely, on the territory of the 'Piva' Nature Park, in 35 locations, there are 787 stećaks, one of which is officially inscribed on the UNESCO cultural heritage list. These medieval tombstones, due to their mysticism and positioning towards the sun, have always been the object of attention of those who search... You will recognize the racio bogumila when they chose such places for tombstones, because they are all illuminated by the sun, and one of them, which is located on the very border "We had the freedom to call Piva and Durmitor the Montenegrin Stonehenge because of the magical charge during the recording of the video," CZIP announced at the time.

Nature Park "Piva" decided to save the Stonehenge of Piva from oblivion, so these days it started the implementation of the project, which is supported by the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism.

"Our goal is to diversify the tourist offer through the introduction of a new type of offer and arrangement of the locality as a picnic area, as well as to preserve the Stećak, medieval cultural monuments from oblivion through the promotion and arrangement of the locality", announced PP "Piva".

They remind that medieval gravestones, unique examples of cultural heritage of the cross-border regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, western Montenegro, Serbia and Croatia, which are specific in terms of symbolism, messages and form, have attracted the attention of the scientific and cultural public for decades.

"With this project, we want to popularize medieval cultural monuments, as unusual, enigmatic and insufficiently explained witnesses of the past, which have an important artistic, historical and spiritual value for the cultural heritage of Plužine, but also of Montenegro," reads the announcement of the PP, signed by Marija Bakrač.

They are aware that a large number of stećaks are in poor condition and that there is a danger of their permanent disappearance, caused by various factors, the ravages of time, neglect and inadequate protection, so they emphasize that it is important to start the process of their physical protection. With the project, they decided to do it with the stećci located in the village of Pišče, on the Brvnima hill.

"In the place where the magic of Durmitor and Piva collide, in the village of Pišče, creating an energy field similar to that of Stonehenge, there is a site with stećci. Not only is the energy field equal to that of Stonehenge, but it resembles it in appearance. This necropolis contains 14 stećaks, of which 13 chests and one gable. The processing of the stećak is good, but they are partially damaged, rolled over or sunk into the ground. On one of the chests, a swastika was recorded as a decoration, and on the other a long sword", the PP stated.

A professional person or institution will be hired, who in cooperation with the competent institutions will start the process of physical protection of the bankrupt. The project will arrange a parking space near the Plužine-Žabljak main road, and a parking lot for at least four vehicles will be created near the stećak. They plan to place six rest benches in a circular shape, to place four signposts, an information board, to make 3.000 bilingual info-fliers about stećci, and to promote stećci on social networks.
