Vladimir Martinović took over the position of Minister of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North from the previous Minister of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism, Ana Novaković Đurović.
As announced by the Government, Novaković Đurović informed Martinović about the active projects being worked on, as well as the situation in the Ministry.
"I will advocate for continuity in the work of the Ministry and the continuation of previous efforts in achieving goals and objectives, but I will also strive to initiate new projects and ideas in such an important department, trying to make it to the satisfaction of all citizens and the economy," said Martinović.
Novaković Đurović, as added in the announcement, Martinović thanked him for his work so far.
"And expressed his willingness to, together with professionals from the Ministry, as well as respecting all the well-intentioned advice and suggestions of those who wish good for our country, devote himself to the effective management of the department and the realization of benefits for society as a whole in order to close certain chapters as soon as possible and become the first next member of the EU", the announcement concludes.
