The Foundation "Do Good" in cooperation with the Institute for Education, which implements the international program "Eco Schools", invited educational institutions to participate in the competition "Do Good, Be a Hero for the Planet!".

The competition is organized on the occasion of November 4, World Climate Change Day.

The right to participate in the competition is for educational institutions that implement the International "Eco Schools" program, more precisely those that are holders of the "Green Flag" international recognition, as well as institutions that applied for the piloting of the "Eco Schools" program.

As part of the competition "Do good, be a hero for the planet!" educational institutions should submit a project proposal on the topic of climate change, which is aimed at preserving the environment by mapping the problem in the school and/or the local community, and by proposing a concrete solution and how to join the global fight against climate change. The call is open until December 1, when educational institutions should submit their proposals to the e-mail: info@cinidobro.me. An educational institution can participate with only one proposal.

"The aim of the competition is to raise awareness of climate change among young people, more precisely students, teaching staff, but also to motivate them to change their habits and take concrete steps to preserve the planet. More precisely, preserving the planet is only possible if we take care of biological diversity , sustainable use of natural resources, reduction of pollution and energy consumption. The climate changes that have been registered in the past, as well as those that are predicted for the next 80 years, are considered to have occurred as a result of human activities, and not as a consequence of natural changes in the atmosphere. That's why this topic is very important, that's why the field of climate change is one of the ten topics that are realized within the international program 'Eco School'", the statement of the "Do Good" Foundation states.

The commission will, as it was reinforced, valuing the criteria of: innovation, creativity and originality; impact and sustainability of the project; proposal quality; approach and methodology; connection with the curriculum; promotion and adaptability of the project, on December 8, choose the two best projects.

Educational institutions, whose projects are ranked first and second, will receive a cash prize of one thousand euros each for their implementation.
