The Bjelopolje Komunalno predzujeno issued significantly lower invoices than expected for garbage removal to a private company Vojislav Smolović, whose brother is the President of the Municipality Petar Smolović.
Director of the municipal company Muradif Grbović confirmed that Smolović was billed 352 euros per month, instead of 815 euros.
After twenty days, Grbović replied to the "News" that irregularities had been established, but he could not say since when Smolović was charged more than twice as much for garbage removal. He said that he had no "possibility to check it", and that it was "a job for someone else".
Grbović assumed office in April, as a member of the Bosniak Party...
Smolović said that the company paid the bills according to the law - as calculated by Komunalno, announcing that they will seek protection in court if they are not satisfied with the response to the appeal.

Grbović clarified that there are certain irregularities in connection with the square footage of legal and natural persons, reminding that waste removal services are invoiced precisely on the basis of that parameter.
"In order to determine the exact situation on the ground, a commission of four members was formed," Grbović said.
The problem with reduced bills was actualized by the NGO "Euromost" and the councilor "Movement Evropa sad". Andrija Delic, who, at the last session of the local parliament, publicly called out the President of the Municipality, Petar Smolović, that "a company with which he has family ties pays significantly lower invoices", which is why a verbal incident broke out.
Because of all this, Delić filed a report against President Smolović, who also announced the report...
According to Grbović's answer, the commission of the utility company found that the company "Imperial" was invoiced for smaller amounts of square footage - 352,11 euros, instead of 815,07 euros.
"After the commission corrected the invoice amount, the monthly invoice for Imperial now amounts to 815,07 euros..." Grbović said.
Asked if there are still large companies that paid preferential bills, he stated that the commission is still working.
The owner and executive director of the company "Imperial" Vojislav Smolović pointed out that it is completely false that this company has damaged anyone for anything, that he is the owner of 100 percent of the company that he inherited from his father in 2017, and that he has no relationship with his brother ownership ties, nor do they live in the same household.
"For more than 25 years of business, we have never had any business cooperation with the Municipality of Bijelo Polje. What someone insinuates is part of a dirty political campaign and subterfuge against Petar Smolović, and the citizens also know where they were financed, with which my company has nothing to do," Smolović told "Vijesti".
Regarding how long "Imperial" pays the invoices to Komunalna in the amount of 352 euros, it states that they pay the bills according to the monthly calculation to each public company, in accordance with the law.
"And since we have been dissatisfied with the services of the utility company for many years, we initiated a meeting and called a committee to determine what and for what we pay, because there are no utility containers within our company, and the removal truck comes very rarely, and they turn a deaf ear to several calls to set them up containers and frequent waste removal," he said.
Explaining why and for how long the waste removal invoices amounted to 352 euros, he said:
"The invoices amount to what was calculated for us according to the valid price list, we did not calculate for ourselves, but the utility company".
When asked what the difference in the bill of 463 euros refers to, he said that an appeal was filed against the minutes to the Municipal Corporation:
"Because we believe that it was incorrectly calculated, contrary to the valid methodology and the actual situation".
