Challenges as learning opportunities
Bojana Radović has been in the position of executive director of Glov in Montenegro since the company was founded in 2021. The time she spent abroad gave Bojana numerous opportunities for training and business maturation, especially life in France, where she earned her master's degree, and then worked in two world-famous companies for almost eight years. That this period after returning to Montenegro was challenging on a personal and professional level is an understatement, but at the same time it brought a lot of pleasure, chances for growth and development and opportunities for advancement in the corporate world.
Bojana tells Glovo that it is the home of numerous female leaders who not only broke glass ceilings but also inspired countless others to follow in their footsteps. They serve as a true embodiment of perseverance, innovation and leadership excellence. "The empowerment of women who inherit 'Glovo' is not only a matter of rhetoric, but of active implementation of policies and initiatives that create equal opportunities for everyone. I had the opportunity to feel this on my own example, from the first day when I started working in the company and when I was given the opportunity to lead our team, but also something that I continue to practice in my work and in my relationship with employees," said Bojana. .
For her, being a woman is something important that in a certain part defines her, but successfully mastering the responsibilities she takes on every day is the result of many years of work and effort on herself, in every sense. "This job and position are the realization of my career wishes and dreams, but also of great work and dedication, because nothing falls from the sky. "If I hadn't met a large number of people who influenced me through work, and in private, some through constructive criticism, and some because they saw potential in me, I wouldn't have the job and life I have today," she added.
However, Bojana's work on herself does not end with the moment of assuming the most responsible position in the company, but is constantly looking for new opportunities for learning and personal and professional development. "Learning from the experience at 'Amazon', where I changed several positions in seven years, getting out of my comfort zone became part of my DNA, and I carry that culture to this day and try to pass it on to my colleagues. This is especially important in a company like 'Glovo', because it is an environment where initiative, openness and transparency are valued, which makes every task a challenge in a positive sense, and every problem an opportunity to learn".
Finally, Bojana tells women to believe more in what they are doing, be persistent and help others. "It is not easy for women in our society to follow their dreams, to be ambitious and to want more for themselves, because this often conflicts with the social rules that are imposed on them. Therefore, believe in yourself and in yourself, be persistent and don't forget to lend a hand to others when needed, because maybe with that small gesture you can change someone's life," she concludes.
Ana Stojanović
I encourage the younger members of the team
After many years of work in some of the largest Montenegrin companies, Ana Stojanović, who is currently working as an operations manager in "Glovo", wholeheartedly accepted the challenges that "Glovo" offers her every working day.
"I was amazed by the way of the recruitment process and communication during employment. At that moment, it was clear to me - this is a job where I will always be dynamic and challenging, and where I recognize an exceptional opportunity to contribute to increasing operational efficiency and productivity.
In my work, I try to encourage others, especially younger team members, to accept new challenges that will instill confidence in them and show that this leads to personal and professional fulfillment, setting an example, offering mentorship and fostering a culture of empowerment," says Ana.
"What was extremely important to me personally and in which I found myself from the very beginning because it coincides with my personal visions are the values that are valued in 'Glov', and which are a guide for all of us in our work and in making decisions. These values mean that we are all on the same wavelength and that we truly have and cherish the feeling of belonging to a special collective," added Ana.

Networking with colleagues from around the world
Anđela Drašković started her career in 2016, building knowledge in the field of finance by working in the external audit sector of renowned Big4 companies. Today, she is one of three women in senior positions who direct the work, growth and development of "Glov" in Montenegro.
For her, this career venture meant leaving a corporation with strictly defined work rules and entering a start-up story with great potential. "Teamwork on serious business ventures, networking with colleagues from all over the world, rapid business growth that constantly places the responsibility of even faster learning and coping with new circumstances; and all this with a lot of fun and in a supportive business atmosphere - these are just some of the things I loved while working at "Glov". If I look back and summarize my career path so far, I would say that what I am most proud of is that I had and have the opportunity to transfer knowledge and experience to other people along the way," said Anđela.
"In this business and through experience, I learned that growth and comfort do not coexist. Therefore, it is important for all those who are starting their careers, and especially women, to learn to stand up for themselves first and to always accept a challenge that excites them, despite insecurity and fear of failure," she adds.
