The Minister of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North congratulated the citizens of Montenegro on Njegoš Day.
"Celebrating Njegoš, we celebrate the best version of ourselves, we celebrate the greatest cultural reach that rose from our climate to European and world cultural heritage," said Martinović.
He pointed out that "having Njegoš, we also know that we have great men of spirit, who are no less than the great men of spirit produced by other countries of the world, so Njegoš is also a symbol of our national dignity".
"That's why it was natural to first propose and then vote for the day of Njegoš's birth as the Montenegrin day of culture. Our culture has no more important date than the date of Njegoš's birth," he added.
"By the way, I would like to mention that this year, Njegoš Day is celebrated on two non-working days, which makes it completely equal to other public holidays, which the day on which the greatest among us was born objectively deserves," concluded Martinović.
