The Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro strongly condemned the publication of Vojislav Šešelj's book in which he insults the former deputy of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and professor of that faculty, Draginja Vuksanović Stanković.
The title of Šešel's book is "Montenegrinska k*****tija Draginja Vuksanović".
"The Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro expresses a strong protest and strong condemnation against the latest cruel and retrograde misogynistic attacks suffered by prominent women of the Montenegrin scientific and political scene, first and foremost the member of the collective of the Faculty of Law, Draginja Vuksanović Stanković," the announcement states.
They pointed out that "primitive acts of disparagement on the basis of gender, such as we have witnessed in recent days, must not find a place in the contents that make up public, as well as private, space".
"The Faculty of Law is strongly advocating for stronger, more visible and safer participation of women in all forms of social work and activity," the announcement concludes.
