This is stated in the Draft Decision on the Budget of the Capital City for 2024, which is signed by the President of the Assembly of the Capital City Jelena Borovinić Bojović.
The draft decision has been under public discussion since the day before yesterday, and suggestions and proposals can be submitted until the end of the month.
According to the Draft, the Capital City's expenditures should amount to slightly more than 130 million euros. Of that, 55,7 million should be allocated from the treasury for current budget spending, debt repayment (3,2 million), but also obligations from an earlier period of more than four million euros.

According to the draft decision on the budget, the personal income tax represents half of the main inflow of money into the budget of the capital - 32 million euros, while the tax on the planned replenishment of the city coffers is in the amount of 13.500.000 euros.
The capital also predicts that the income from the rent of land and buildings owned by the city will be slightly less than one million euros, while from the collection of fines, imposed in proceedings for non-payment of local taxes, 450.000 euros.
According to the draft decision on the budget of Podgorica, it is planned to allocate a little more than seven million euros for the payment of money to institutions, individuals, non-governmental and public sectors. Institutions of culture and sport would receive the most - three million, while non-governmental organizations and political parties would receive a total of 948 thousand euros. According to the draft, EUR 250.000 is provided for one-time aid.
The capital planned to spend 70 million euros for capital expenditures, i.e. city projects. For reconstruction projects or the construction of streets, roads and other local infrastructure, Podgorica will provide 53.025.000 euros
