Women's vision of business

The number of women who are in important management positions in the Association of Managers of Montenegro, as well as their biographies and references, show that AMM is absolutely committed to the support and active involvement of women in all business and social spheres of life.

The Association of Managers of Montenegro was formed in September 2013 and will soon be 10 years old. Since its foundation, the organization has been directed towards the improvement of leadership knowledge and skills, and it has placed a special focus on the active participation of women in the work, both through membership and through assuming important functions in the management bodies of the Association.

The Association proudly points out that, starting from the vision and goals of AMM, to promote leadership and managerial skills, but also to affirm business women, in 2018 they formed a Committee for the areas of leadership and business women.

The Board's mission is the promotion and improvement of leadership skills and the affirmation and involvement of business women in AMM activities. Without leadership skills, as well as the active involvement of women in business and social life, there is no realization of the vision of a developed and prosperous Montenegro.

Cultivating a team and company culture that supports and emphasizes the importance of gender equality, diversity and inclusivity is what really counts, AMM says, if you want to amplify voices and ideas that are often not heard. The Board's vision is to combat the impact of gender on authority, business relationships and effective leadership. To use exceptional female potentials in order to overcome obstacles in personal life, society and beyond. AMM vice president Marijana Kadić Bojanić, executive director of Vijesti television and Daily press, was appointed as the president of the said Committee.

With the aim of active involvement and assuming important functions in the Association of Managers, women who are members of the Management Board of AMM and who occupy important positions in companies are highlighted: Tatjana Mandić, executive director of Mtel, Ljilja Pižurica, executive director of Nelt Grupa for Montenegro and Albania . sector for strategy and finance in CKB, Biljana Radusinović, HR director of "One CG" and Mirjana Purić, executive director of Markets.

A significant body of AMM is the CEO Forum, where Mrs. Mandić and Pižurica play an important role.

Member of the AMM presidency Ana Martinović, PR manager of Mtel, chairs the Committee for PR and Marketing.

It should be noted that the work of the AMM executive office is managed by the executive director Anđela Radosavović, who as a young leader performs the function of a member of the AMM presidency and general secretary of the CEO Forum. She is a member of the Administrative Council of the European Confederation of CEC Managers and the Working Group of this prestigious European organization for gender equality.

In AMM, they point out that the secretary of two important Committees (Committee for Digital Transformation and Committee for the Application of Artificial Intelligence and Other Advanced Technologies) is Katarina Savković.

Believing that leadership issues and the role of business women in society are closely related, AMM has often promoted women who deserve it with their business results and references, within the project Selection of the most successful managers, entrepreneurs and employers of the year, which represents the most prestigious business award at the national level, whose institutional sponsor is the Government of Montenegro, supported by the largest business organizations and companies, and enjoys great attention from the Montenegrin public, with the media patronage of RTCG and TV Vijesti.

In the past seven years, as long as the project has been implemented, as many as 14 awards and special recognitions have gone to women. The laureates of these prestigious awards received awards as the Best Manager of the Year in micro, small, medium and large enterprises, as well as in the fields of corporate management, media management and entrepreneurship.

Taking into account all the mentioned activities, as well as the education that AMM conducts independently or in cooperation with partners, it can be said that AMM represents an exceptional platform for connecting and exchanging leadership knowledge and experience both in Montenegro and in the region, and through membership in the European Confederation CEC managers and at the European level.

Regional cooperation

AMM considers the regional connection of women who are in significant leadership and responsible positions in companies and institutions to be important. Exceptional cooperation is being achieved with the Croatian Association of Managers and Entrepreneurs CROMA and the Serbian Association of Managers SAM, so it is worth highlighting the exceptional ladies who are at the head of these organizations - the president of the CROMA association Ana Soldo, the executive director of the cluster Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, DS Smith Packaging, as well as Danijela Milić, chief manager. The recent president of SAM, Stanka Pejanović, vice president of Hisense International, is also a member of the Association of Managers of Montenegro, and another woman who attaches great importance to cooperation in the region is Jelena Bulatović, executive director of SAM.
