Montenegro and Italy have a huge chance for cooperation in the field of tourism and ecology, which the two countries must not miss, said the Minister of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable Development and Northern Development, Vladimir Martinović.
He met with the ambassador of Italy in Montenegro, Andrea Marcela, to whom he told that he would do everything to connect the two countries, and told Italian companies, experts, and tourism officials that they had come to our country more than welcome.
Martinović thanked for the visit and the desire of the Embassy to connect the two countries and emphasized the importance of the tourist offer between Montenegro and Italy.
He also emphasized the importance of the opening of a new airline between Montenegro and Italy, by Air Montenegro.
Martinović also recalled Italy's contribution regarding the closure of Chapter 27, without which there is no European path, and emphasized that a balance must be found between economic and environmental projects, all in order to meet the standards coming from Brussels.
Martinović highlighted the completion of the Eco enclosure in Podgorica, which should be completed in mid-December, and which he hopes to jointly open with the Italian Embassy.
Marsela said that she was satisfied with the formation of the 44th Government and emphasized the need to connect the two countries in the field of tourism and ecology.
"Marsela supported the establishment of an airline between Montenegro and Italy, i.e. a direct flight between Rome and Podgorica, and said that within her competences she would help so that, while waiting for the summer season, they would already have a certain number of packages sold through their travel agencies," she says. in the announcement.
She agrees with Martinović about Italy's need to close Chapter 27, but also to organize meetings to find and establish support modalities.
Marsela thanked Martinović for his hospitality and expressed her belief that everything they discussed will be achieved.
