Five people were prosecuted, and a large amount of fish was seized, in a joint action of the Economic Crime Department of the Police Administration, inspectors from the Ministry of Agriculture and the supervisor of the National Parks of Montenegro, conducted this morning at eight locations.
"Vijesti" was told by JP NPCG that in the "Origin" action, aimed at suppressing illegal fishing and off-market sales of fish, they prosecuted five cases and filed another report against unknown persons.
"A large amount of poached fish was seized and will be donated to the soup kitchen. Today, the first phase of the implementation of the winter action plan for the protection of Lake Skadar from poaching began," they said.
