On the occasion of December 3, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (PWD), the President of the Nikšić Municipal Assembly, Nemanja Vuković, visited the first social club for people with different types of disabilities in Montenegro, "Adapt", which was recently opened by the NGO Mozaik with the support of the Municipality Niksic.
"On that occasion, Vuković reminded of the importance of daily respect for the position of PWDs and respect for their rights, so that we, as a community, contribute to having the best possible living conditions in our city. The NGO 'Mozaik' thanked the president for the visit and expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation so far, as well as the projects that have already been implemented, which concern PWDs", the press release states.
At the meeting, as stated, the possibilities for improving their position, as well as the position of other vulnerable categories in the city under Trebjes, were discussed.
