The "Makadam" group and architect Pavle Popović are the winners of the "December 19" award for the year 2023.

"Jury for awarding the Prize "19. December" for the year 2023, composed of Prof. Tatjana Novović, PhD, president and members: Prof. Maja Kostić Mandić, PhD, Prof. Nenad Vujadinović, PhD, Prof. Vuko Domazetović, PhD, Aleksandar Vujović, PhD, Assistant Professor Milena Lipovina Božović, PhD , Assistant Professor Mehmed Đečević, Ph.D., Momčilo Vuksanović, Ph.D., Andrija Mikulić, Ph.D., Vuksan Simonović, Srđan Dido Stanojević and Miodrag Živković, held a session today, where he made the Decision on awarding the Award "19. December" for the year 2023. The award was given to: Grupa Makadam, for 45 years of work and existence of the group, Pavle Popović, architect, for his entire life's work in the field of architecture and urban planning," the announcement states.
The Capital City said that for this year's "December 19" Award, proposals were submitted for 12 candidates, of which 11 met the formal and legal requirements for the award.
"The jury decided on the award of the Award "19. December" for the year 2023, passed by secret ballot. We remind you that the Award "19. December" is awarded every year in December on the occasion of the Capital City holiday, for the highest merits and achieved results in theoretical and practical work and activity in all areas of human creativity. The awards will be presented on December 19 at the solemn session of the Capital City Assembly," concludes in the announcement.
