Herceg Novi: Preparations for asphalting in Trebinjska Street have begun

In cooperation between businessmen and the Municipality of Herceg Novi, preparatory works for asphalting are underway in Trebinjska Street.

The preparatory works, as announced by the Municipality, are being carried out by businessmen whose companies are located in that area.

"The works are included in the tender that was announced at the beginning of the year for the rehabilitation of roads worth about 400 euros," said the director of the Agency for Construction and Development of the City, Aleksandar Kovačević.

"The entire Trebinjska Street will be asphalted. Businessmen took over the necessary preparatory work, excavations, strengthening of the soil's bearing capacity. After that, asphalting will follow, which will be financed by the Municipality. This is a wonderful example of cooperation between the Municipality and businessmen", said Kovačević.

He also announced that next year he will pave the streets of Igalo and Sava Ilića Street.

As part of this tender, it is planned to pave two streets in the Norwegian settlement in Baošići and Sarajevska Street in Igalo by the end of the year.

The agency supervises works on a smaller scale, among which is the construction of a pedestrian communication between Topla and Modra ploča.
