IJZ: Parents can vaccinate their children against all diseases from the regular calendar on weekends until the end of December

Parents can bring their children on weekends until the end of December and vaccinate them against all diseases from the regular calendar, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella and human papilloma virus, said the Institute for Public Health (IJZ).

They pointed out that for the exact dates of vaccination during the weekend, it is necessary to inquire in the municipality of residence, while, as they say, in Podgorica, supplementary vaccination dates are organized at the Stara Varoš Health Center (Pobrežje) from 9 a.m. to 17 p.m.

They appealed to parents to vaccinate their children regularly and on time, and for those who are late with vaccination to make up for missed doses, in order to prevent, as they say, more severe forms of the disease, complications and hospitalizations.

"All parents of children, who have a valid phone number in their electronic record, received a call via SMS about the possibility of vaccination on weekends. We would like to note that, in addition to additional appointments, vaccinations are also carried out according to scheduled appointments on weekdays at selected doctors for children." they said from IJZ.
