Montefarm provided additional quantities of the drug Taxol, which is used for oncology patients, and the delivery was announced by the end of this week, said the health institution.
The Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG) announced on Tuesday that Taxol arrived late, as well as that during December they received insufficient amounts of the drug compared to the claims they regularly submitted to Montefarma.
"Through maximum engagement and intensive negotiations with the authorized supplier of the medicine Taxol, Montefarm managed to secure, in addition to the announced 120 boxes, additional quantities of the said medicine whose delivery is announced by the end of the current week," said Montefarm.
They stated that, after receipt and regular control of the delivery, the drug will be distributed on the same day to the Center for Medical Supply of KCCG according to the expressed needs of the Institute of Oncology.
"The announced quantities will be sufficient for the next period," says Montefarma's statement.
