The Municipality of Pljevlja will give the Municipality of Mojkovac four old, defective fire engines, which it intended to sell through a public advertisement, to the Municipality of Mojkovac free of charge.
Those vehicles of the Protection and Rescue Service of the Municipality of Mojkovac will serve as parts for their vehicles.
Mojkovac will be donated a fire engine FAP 1620 produced in 1985, a special work vehicle IFA produced in 1989, a fire engine FAP 1314 produced in 1983, and a 1314-year-old fire engine FAP 40. All vehicles are defective and unregistered.
The Municipality of Mojkovac recently approached the Municipality of Pljevlja for a vehicle donation, and it was pointed out in the request that they would use the Protection and Rescue Service of the Municipality of Mojkovac as parts for their vehicles.
The Municipal Assembly of Pljevlja previously passed a Decision on the sale of fire engines through the collection of bids, but there were no interested bidders at two public calls.
The vehicles were sold at a total starting price of 13.200 euros.
The Pljeval Protection and Rescue Service stated that these are old and dilapidated, unregistered and scrapped vehicles that cannot be used for firefighting without major investments.
"For the stated reasons, the President of the Municipality of Pljevlja, as an authorized proposer, and for the sake of inter-municipal cooperation, proposed to the local parliament to adopt this decision", announced the Municipality of Pljevlja.
