The municipality of Kolašin has ambitiously planned the implementation or the beginning of projects that represent multi-decade challenges for that municipality with the program of spatial planning and the urban rehabilitation program for the next year. Among those plans are those that were part of similar documents before, but so far no way has been found for their realization.
Among other things, as written in the program, next year the construction of the main road with other infrastructure should begin in the settlement of Breza, where several hotels are being built. The main road, which, according to the program, is a multi-year project, will cost five million euros, and the money will be provided from the capital budget through the Directorate for Capital Projects.
The construction of another road in that settlement will be financed from the local budget and will cost 200.000 euros.
The program also foresees that in 2024, a multi-year landfill rehabilitation project will also begin - the closure and recultivation of the temporary municipal and non-hazardous construction waste disposal site in Bakovići. This work will cost four million euros, and will be implemented through the Capital Projects Administration.
The rehabilitation of bridges in rural areas, as stated in the program, will be financed by the Municipality, the Ministry of Agriculture, or the Administration. It is about the bridges Selišta 1, Zauglina - Gornje Lipovo, on the river Pčinja in Lugovi, in Dragovića Polje and Mrtvica.
The program for next year, as well as for this year, plans to build an asylum for abandoned animals, which will cost 50.000 euros. More than 300.000 euros are planned for rehabilitation works on the non-existing infrastructure, and approximately the same amount, as written in the program, will be spent on investment maintenance of municipal roads.
The start of the main projects for the construction of infrastructure, wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) and sewage networks was also announced. It is a multi-year project, for which 12 million euros have been provided by the European investment bank, the relevant ministry, the Capital Projects Administration and from the budget.
When it comes to the preparation of planning, technical and other documentation, it is planned to continue the activities on the preparation of the Spatial-Urban Plan (PUP), as well as amendments and additions to the detailed urban plans (DUP) "Centar", "Breza", "Smailagića Polje", " Sports zone", "Radigojno". Also, as foreseen in the Program, next year the construction of the DUPs "Selišta", "Zekova glava", "Dulovine", "Bašanje brdo", "Industrijska zona 1", "Bakovići" should begin.
From the municipal budget, 200.000 euros will be spent on land expropriation, but the document does not say which land is in question and within which project. The creation of technical documentation, that is, the conservation and main project for the reconstruction of Kaluđer's bridge in the Morača Monastery, is also planned.
