The National Park Protection Service of Montenegro prosecuted four people caught poaching in the Skadar Lake National Park.
As announced by the NPCG, in the previous 48 hours, they were caught illegally fishing with ostriches in the Pantovac area.
"The implementation of the second phase of the Winter Action Plan of the Skadar Lake NP Protection Service is underway. The action is underway in the Bjace region, where fishing is strictly prohibited, because it is a wintering place for fish. We found a large number of nets that were used to catch fish using a prohibited technique that it's called 'building,'" said the head of the Protection Service, Vuk Saičić.
