The decades-long contribution of a Montenegrin family from Berlin to the project of soup kitchens, through which more than a thousand meals are distributed every day for socially vulnerable citizens of Montenegro, continues this year as well.
The self-sustainability of the national kitchen project in Podgorica was achieved precisely with the contribution of a Montenegrin family from Berlin.
A bakery, a store of healthy food, fruit, vegetables and domestic products obtained from the agricultural estate in Zeta have been opened, the revenues of which are directly directed to this project.
The goal of their further humanitarian action is specifically aimed at achieving the self-sustainability of all national kitchens in Montenegro. Only within the Metropolis of Montenegro and the Littoral and the Diocese of Buda and Nikšić there are three more soup kitchens in Berane, Bijelo Polje and Cetinje.
The support of these Montenegrin humanists was not lacking in other institutions in Montenegro, which focus on the humanitarian aspect of their activities, regardless of which national and religious community they belong to.
The multi-ethnic harmony and tolerance of Montenegro have overcome all the trials of time, divisions and historical misunderstandings between the ethnic and religious communities in Montenegro, according to the announcement.
