At the end of last year, as of December 31, 3.958 persons were registered at the Nikšić Labor Bureau, which is 19,94 percent less compared to the same period last year (4.944), or 37,69 percent less compared to December 31, 2021(6.352).

Almost 62 percent of the unemployed are women, and that number is 3,55 percent lower compared to the same period last year. Most of the unemployed have completed IV degree (1.225), followed by university graduates (869) and persons with completed III degree (862). There are also six doctors of science at the Bureau.
"As far as the age structure is concerned, the largest number of persons aged 25 to 30 years old, 15,91 percent, are followed by persons aged 35-40 years old, 14,39 percent, and then from 40 to 45 years old, 13,7, 60 percent. At the age of over 3,11, we have XNUMX percent," she said Aleksandra Radulović, head of the Nikšić Regional Unit of the Employment Agency of Montenegro.
When it comes to the waiting period, there are the most people who have been waiting for a job for one to three years (1.475), followed by those who have been looking for a job for less than six months (898).
"In the reporting period, 1.112 vacancies were advertised, and 1.019 people were employed," said Radulović.
The most advertised jobs were in education, followed by processing industry, trade and construction.
