On Tuesday, January 29, all women between the ages of 30 and 50 will be able to schedule an HPV screening at selected gynecologists at the information desk of the Capital City Health Center in TC Big Fashion.
The invitation applies to all women who have not been screened in the last five years and have not had cervical interventions.
"On the occasion of the European week against cervical cancer, the gynecological service of the Capital City Health Center with the support of the Institute for Public Health of Montenegro and the student organization MoMSIC planned to set up an information desk in TC "Big Fashion" on January 29.01.2023, 11 from 19 a.m. to XNUMX p.m. The goal of the promotion is to educate our fellow citizens about prevention, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment options for cervical cancer," the announcement states.
Cervical cancer, they said, is a major public health problem of our society, and Montenegro is among the first in Europe in terms of contracting and dying from this disease.
"Thus, through an educational conversation with our fellow citizens, we will inform them about the continuation of the screening program," they said.
