The Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Anđela Jakšić-Stojanović and the Minister of Education of China, Huai Jinpeng, signed today in Shanghai the Program on Educational Cooperation between the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro and the Ministry of Education of China for the period 2024-2027, as well as the Agreement on mutual recognition of higher education documents.
This was announced by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI).
"The cooperation program refers to pre-school, primary, secondary, professional, higher and continuing education, as well as to the field of science and research, and special attention will be devoted to the exchange of pupils, students and teaching staff, the joint realization of scientific and research projects, the organization of seminars and conferences, work on joint publications in renowned scientific journals, etc.," the MPNI press release points out.
The government department added that the signing of the agreement will enable more intensive cooperation between Montenegrin and Chinese educational institutions and open a new space for cooperation in the field of education, science and innovation.
"Also, as part of her official visit to Shanghai, the minister attended a multilateral meeting organized by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the City of Shanghai, which represented an exceptional opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience in the field of digitalization of the educational process, but also to design a model for establishing more intensive cooperation when in to the issue of research and innovation," concludes the MPNI press release.
