The responsible use of the online space, along with the application of security measures and tools, contributes to a safer Internet, said the Minister of Public Administration, Maraš Dukaj.
He, as announced by the Ministry of Public Administration (MJU), congratulated February 6 - the International Safer Internet Day.
Dukaj said that by celebrating Safer Internet Day, a message is being sent about the importance of togetherness in creating a better digital environment, first of all for children and young people.
"Only by responsible use of the online space, with the application of security measures and tools and through the continuous empowerment of the youngest participants to use the advantages of the digital age with caution, aware of potential threats and risks, will we contribute to a safer internet," said Dukaj.
He said that the Ministry of Justice, together with the competent departments, allies and partners, remains committed to the mission of raising awareness and education about the safe use of the Internet and mobile technologies.
