The United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the Municipality of Ulcinj, as part of the project "Integral flood risk management in the extended Drim river basin", announced a tender worth 500.000 euros for the execution of works on the embankments on to Bojana:
- drafting of the constitution on the Štodra-Sukobin section and
- reconstruction of the eroded embankment on Gropat-Stodra.
The Office of the President of the Municipality of Ulcinj announced that according to professional and technical parameters, the Štodra-Sukobin section was marked as the area with the highest risk of flooding and it was proposed that works be carried out in this area.
"Given the importance of the realization of this project and that the project is on the Single list of priority infrastructure projects of the Ministry of Tourism, Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, this project was proposed through EU funds - Instrument for pre-accession assistance - IPA III for the period 2021 – 2027. We expect that EU funds will be provided for the reconstruction of the entire embankment system," the announcement of the Cabinet of the President of the Municipality of Ulcinj reads.
