100 black pine trees were planted in the yard of the "Stojan Cerović" Gymnasium in Nikšić. The action was organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation in cooperation with the Municipality of Nikšić and the Nikšić Communal Company.

"The goal of this action is to green the school grounds and to raise awareness among our students by setting a positive example in society. In the coming days, we will continue with the greening and planting of black pine in numerous schoolyards on the territory of our country," said the representative of the ministry, Aleksandar Šipčić.

The director of the Gymnasium, Dušan Kilibarda, recalled that the institution recently celebrated 110 years of work.

"This will remain a very nice memory of our jubilee. Our high school park will be beautified and enlarged with beautiful black pine trees and will help in the environmental fight in which we all have to participate for a healthier planet," said Kilibarda.
