In the area of the Morača River bed, the protective elements of an EcoLog measuring device for monitoring the level of groundwater and karst recharge issued in the area of the source of "Bolje sestre" were broken.

As they point out, the measuring devices are placed in the sanitized protection zone, they are provided with appropriate fasteners, locked and are regularly visited by the patrol of the Service for the Protection of Property and Persons.
"By destroying the elements of the measuring instruments that make up the network of digital meters, which send data to the data processing center, an attempt is being made to prevent the determination of the movement of underground water and the connection between the bed of the Morča River and the source of the "Bolje sestre", and represents a serious obstruction of research works. We are sure that damage to with these devices are not accidental, but that they are aimed at preventing scientific research on preserving the bounty of the 'Bolje sestre' springs", the company points out.
The property of the Regional Waterworks, as they add, is state property.
"For a long period of time, we encounter various obstructions in our work, which is also known to the general public. The personal and property protection service observed and reported the damage during a tour of the sanitary protection zones. The personal and property protection service does everything to protect the property of the Regional Water Supply and to help prevent further destruction of equipment.
