Laković said yesterday that everyone should stand up for free speech and democratic values ​​"always and everywhere", and that this also applies to "those under whose authority the institutions arrested and persecuted people because of one ugly word on social networks". "I believe that today they realize how wrong it was to keep quiet about it then," said Laković.

On that occasion, he referred to the statement of DPS president Danijel Živković that, "when institutions persecute free speech", it is expected that it will also be persecuted on the street.
