Supervisors of the Skadar Lake National Park Protection Service found two poachers illegally hunting in the area of Zbelje (Milica Livade) early this morning, they told "Vijesta" from that NP.

"In the previous period, our security service received operational information about suspicious activities related to illegal hunting by means of electricity. Early this morning, our supervisors, with a quick and effective intervention, managed to find two persons who had fled, leaving behind a large amount of prey. On the face place, a vessel with a VBM was found, which was used to transfer to a vessel with a large engine, about 60 kg of fish, a converter (aggregate), probe, cables, three batteries and other equipment. The identification of the suspects and the collection of additional evidence are underway, and the competent prosecution was informed about this event," said JP National Parks of Montenegro.
They said that the fishing ban will start soon, and that they will pay special attention to the areas of Plavnica and Pantovac:
"In order to ensure the preservation of the fish stock in those areas".
