The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI) will organize promotional activities for the enrollment of children of the Roma and Egyptian population in preschool education and education institutions, primary and secondary schools in Podgorica, Nikšić, Berane and Bar.
The department announced that, as part of the visit, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Institute of Education, the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, the National Roma Council and non-governmental organizations that deal with the social inclusion of the RE community will talk with the parents of children who should be enrolled in institutions of preschool upbringing and education and in the first grade of elementary school.
As it is added, they will also talk to the students of the ninth grade of elementary school in order to give them all the information related to enrollment in secondary schools.
"The first in a series of promotions will be held on March 19 at the Elementary School (Elementary School) 'Kekec' in Bar and will refer to enrollment in pre-school education institutions and in the first grade of elementary school, as well as with students of the ninth grade in order to inform and motivate them to enroll in secondary schools", said the Ministry.
According to them, the second promotion is planned for March 20 at Elementary School "Mileva Lajović Lalatović" in Nikšić.
"The third promotion will be held on March 21 in Podgorica in the premises of the Public Preschool Institution (JPU) 'Đina Vrbica' in Vreli for enrollment in preschool institutions and in the first grade of elementary school," the announcement says.
It is added that on the same day, at 11 a.m., a meeting will be organized with the students of the ninth grade of elementary schools in Podgorica in order to inform them about enrollment in secondary schools.
The final promotion will be organized in Berane on March 25.
The Ministry said that they will talk with parents about enrollment in preschool education and the first grade of elementary school at the Radmila Nedić Public School at 11 a.m., while they will meet with ninth graders at Radomir Mitrović Elementary School at 12 p.m. hours.
