An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale shook the territory of Montenegro in four hours and six minutes.
The Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology announced that the epicenter was five kilometers from the town of Čarađe in the municipality of Nikšić. The focal point was at a depth of 14 kilometers.
The Institute states that the earthquake could have caused some material damage in the epicentral area.
